Fund the Struggle for Real Change

Published on

Global capitalism’s failures are being exposed for all to see. There’s no hiding it anymore. But capitalism has seen crisis before and it won’t simply do itself in.

Without a clear strategy, program, and vision for a new society that is organized in a fundamentally different way, we are compelled to live in a world with not only painful economic crises, but also poverty, war, and environmental destruction.

As socialists, we see the potential for the development of mass struggle all around the world and the need to link these struggles with the question of fundamentally transforming society.

Socialist Alternative is in political solidarity with the Committee for a Worker’s International (CWI), which has sections in 35 countries worldwide. In February, the CWI is organizing its second annual Latin America Summer School, bringing together youth from across the continent and around the world to discuss how to build an international movement for socialism.

Latin America is a continent at the forefront of class struggle, where victories for mass movements can inspire millions around the world, including within the U.S. Socialist Alternative wants to do everything we can to make this school a success and aid the work of our sections in Latin America and the CWI as a whole.

We aim to raise $3,000 for this effort. To support the international movement for socialism, we are encouraging all our members and supporters to make a donation. No contribution is too big or too small. We graciously appreciate all the help you can give.

Donate online at www.SocialistAlternative.org. Send checks, made out to Socialist Alternative, to P.O. Box 150457, Brooklyn NY 11215, or give your donation to your local branch treasurer.
